Sandsfield Gravel Company Ltd is a family owned business established in 1964 operating it’s own deposits of calcareous brown sand and gravels to supply the construction industry.

As part of our commitment to the environment, we endeavour to restore following quarrying to the heighest standard, Mile Gate Landfill has been restored back to agriculture, now used for silage and grazing for a suckler cow herd and Team Hill Quarry at Brandesburton has been developed into a luxury lodge and caravan holiday park, known as Dacre Lakeside Park.

Since 1964 the company has grown and now offers a wide range of services including building aggregates, readymixed concrete, skip hire, recycling, composting, landfill and now biomass electricity production.
