Biomass Power Plant

In March 2009 work began on the development of a 2.5MW/hr Biomass power generation plant, with a start date of June 2010 .

The plant will operate using waste wood from industrial and commercial activities that would normally be destined for landfill.

The plant will supply electricity for approximately 4,000 homes.
